# { "Depends": "py-genlayer:5jycge4q8k23462jtb0b9fyey1s9qz928sz2nbrd9mg4sxqg2qng" } """ MONOCLE -- a real-time, capital-backed interpretation engine on GenLayer. See docs/ARCHITECTURE.md for the design and docs/RESOLUTION_LOGIC.md for a line-by-line walkthrough of adjudication. One Monocle tracks a set of declared live sources. Participants bond GEN behind competing structured interpretations (content + claims). Anyone can trigger adjudicate(): the leader fetches every source fresh, validators independently re-fetch and re-reason, and a claim-level verdict picks a PENDING winner. The winner only becomes the FINAL live output after a challenge window elapses (finalize) or a bonded challenge resolves (resolve_challenge). A fresh round then opens so the output tracks a changing world. Custody: this contract is its own vault. v0.6 cross-contract writes are asynchronous internal messages, so a separate vault contract cannot be debited synchronously inside claim(). The MonocleVault class below is an isolated in-process ledger with its own conservation invariants -- see docs/ARCHITECTURE.md "Vault decision". Read every interpretation's claims (each has an id like "c0"). Treat claims about the same entity and quantity as comparable across interpretations. Stage 2 - Score every claim of every interpretation against the live evidence: "supported" - an evidence excerpt states or directly implies it, "contradicted" - an evidence excerpt states the opposite, "insufficient" - the evidence does not settle it. List the exact evidence URLs you relied on. A claim with no supporting excerpt is never "supported". Do not invent evidence. Stage 3 - Score each interpretation from its claim verdicts (0.00-1.00). Prefer interpretations whose claims are supported by at least {CORROBORATION_MIN_SOURCES} different sources. A contradicted core claim disqualifies an interpretation unless its stance is "refutation". Stage 4 - Rank. If two interpretations are within a hair, prefer the one with MORE CORROBORATED CLAIMS, never the one with more words. Calibrate "confidence" to how strongly the evidence settles the question. Verdicts under the contract's threshold are discarded and refunded, which is the correct outcome when the evidence is thin. Respond with ONLY one JSON object, no prose, exactly this shape.
