The leader fetches every source, # turns each observation into a fixed-point integer, takes the median, marks # sources that deviate by more than `tolerance_bps` as outliers, and only # publishes a value when at least `min_agree` sources agree. # # Validators do NOT just compare strings. Each validator re-fetches the sources # itself and accepts the leader's result only if: # 1. the leader's result is internally consistent (recomputing the median / # quorum from the leader's own reported values gives the same answer), # 2. every per-source value the leader reports matches the validator's own # observation within `drift_bps` (catches fabricated values), # 3. the final value is within `drift_bps` of the validator's own value, # 4. the status (OK / NO_QUORUM / INSUFFICIENT_SOURCES) is identical, # 5. at least `min_agree` of the leader's agreeing sources were independently # verified by this validator. # # Other contracts consume it with get_value_checked(feed_id, min_round). # --------------------------------------------------------------------------- import json import genlayer as gl from genlayer.types import * BPS = 10000 MAX_SOURCES = 8 MAX_PAGE_CHARS = 12000 # ======================= pure, deterministic helpers ========================= # These contain the core logic.
